2011...Apple will have to pay ATT a huge fee if they allwo other carriers in the US to get the iPhone. ATT locked them up until 2011 with a contract.....plus the iphone will need to be redesigned since Version is a CDMA carrier and can't work with GMS phones....

Well I hope so, it might make sense for Apple to buy out of the contract in order to take advantage of the overwhelming demand for the Iphone by Verizon subscribers.

there is alot more to it then just buying out of the contract....FCC has to approve of it....They are cracking down on Cell phone companies and makes....FCC is investaging all US cell phone companies...saying they are over charging.

Also.....APPLE is in deep DO-DO with the FCC because they didn't allow GOOGLE to publish an APP on the APPLE APPS store...APPLE claimed the APP/Program that Google release was faulty and caused a security risk....FCC launched an investagtion and found that APPLE lied and make up claims in order to prevent the highly wanted Google APP on the iphone to be released because google is a direct comp. So basically the FCC busted APPLE in a huge lie and thats not good.....so I think Apple is going to lay low for awhile...

you have to jailbreak the phone and use Cydia to mod those sounds.....Unlike the Blackberry's the iPhone only has 2 profiles....RING and Silent....

if you just want ringtones...use a program called Ringtone Expressions
