Looks are subjective, It's what you can do with the bike that really matters. Theres fools that put all kinds of shit on their  bikes but can ride for shit. Power isnt everything unless you can make use of all of it. There is a guy I ride with on a 600 that can make most guys on 1000's look like ass clowns, and I'm not talking about noob riders either.

True, but the new Honda's do try to look like Suzuki's, and Yamaha's, and with as much power as these 1000's have, I doubt there are very many people who can even touch their full potential.... and James, I never said you couldnt ride better than me... just giving some input on your new purchase whenever it is that you decide to get it... if its a new bikey, Im sure youll love it, compared to your old Aprilia...

honeslty, the honda has always been a better riding bike.  they came out with the cbr 900 before anyone, that was the 600 on some crack.  now this 1000rr should be a 600 on a grip of crack.

over all, it's the rider.  600 are very good for canyon riding as the gearing is lower and what not.  yet, i doubt any of us can out ride a 600, it really does take someone, a pro to really push the bike to the limit.  not talking about just going fast and stunts, but really riding, leaning, speed, and just getting max power (most effective power) when riding.

i really can't drop down to a 600 bike due to being on the v-twin (going to miss) but if i were to get another bike besides the honda 1000, i'd get a suzuki 750 (one of the best over all bikes) or even a 600 something for canyon riding.
