So I wanted to create some custom Mayhem rings, still coming up with designs. I'll post em up once I sketch some out.
Let me know if you guys would be interested in one.
Mayhem logo on the front, engraved with your name on the back.
It would be hand made with Sterling Silver, looking at maybe $60-100 each depending on size/materials used.
I can also try creating necklaces/buckles/earrings/whatever. Let me know what you guys would be interested in and how much you would be willing to pay for whatever that may be and I'll see if I can make it happen.

king asked me to make him a crown ring, so there's my design for that. if you like it i'll make it. i won't charge you too much, haha.
as for mo, i was just experimenting with custom rings personalized for each person, and was seeing how it would turn out. that was one of the first ones i came up with.
tried to keep everything simple.
and BigC, i'm still working on that 4 finger ring, haha.

@frank it'll take me a while, i still gotta create my home setup for all this and the process to engrave the details of the names cleanly is kind of labor intensive. i'm not gonna make something and charge them for something even a bit shitty. i'll look into how much it costs me for supplies and how long it'll be to get it done and get back to you.
@fernie i can stick a huge cubic zirconium in it too. he'll never know the difference, he'll be too touched by the sentiment to even care that it's fake.

i can make a pretty dope chain but not with all that bling, it would cost a fortune. if you guys have a plain chain already i can just make the pendant, just show me what your chain looks like so i can make it match better with your chain, or let me know how big you want it. some of you might want it flava flav style.
as far as a buckle it shouldn't be too hard. i can make it out of aluminum for pretty cheap. once i figure out how to make a good one, i can make a bunch pretty quick for pretty cheap.
for the rings, whoever is interested, let me know your sizes so i know how much material i would need and i can give you a more accurate estimate on price.
for the simple "mayhem street riders" with your name on it, i'll estimate right now 70 per ring for size 9 US. the chain all depends on how big you want it: 2x3" would cost me about $60, 3x4" would be about $100. if i can find supplies for cheaper i'll lower my price. if you guys like what i do let your people know, i won't hook them up as good as mayhem members though, since for you guys i'm basically only charging for supplies and maybe get a lunch out of it haha.

haha furreal. i'm building up suspense right now. i'm trying to come up with a technique where i can make a bunch for all our guys that won't take up too much time and won't cost too much. right now i would have to hand make everything which would take a while. also i'm still trying to order all the equipment to be able to do everything from home, right now i can only get a few hours of studio time a week to make shit, which doesn't allow me to make a whole lot.

yeah yeah yeah i know it's taking forever, but a good amount of my supplies will finally be in soon and i'll get started on a prototype for the rings.
once i get everything sorted out i'll see which design i can make. the 3rd design with the "M" logo would be the easiest/fastest right now. with the cost of the silver/supplies right now i would estimate 120 for sizes 10+. i'll make one for myself as a demo and you guys tell me how you like it. i'm gonna try to get some aluminum in for some belt buckles. i need to buy some bigger equipment for how i wanna make it which i haven't been able to find yet, but once i do i would say 30 per buckle. if i can find some good enough deals on aluminum or the right sized sheets i can lower the size. i'll try my best to conserve materials so i can pass the savings to you guys.

i'm trying to work on a cool way to etch in the logo on big surfaces for buckles without it being too difficult to do. i've found out one technique that might work, gonna go out and get the supplies to try it on monday. i've received some of my supplies, but i don't have everything yet, some are hard to get. i'm getting there though.

both are way too expensive because of the machines needed. was gonna do either acid or electrolytic chemical etch. i don't have the setup for either, but they're both pretty similar and don't need too much.

this is a repost that spawned from another discussion.
in terms of the jewelry and stuff, there are some equipment i'm holding off on buying since i don't know how dedicated some people are to buying actual products. there are some things like drill presses that i need that would take me a while to break even from if i purchased them. someone gave me an idea before of having people pay some initially to help front the cost, but i think now what i can do to solve this is to get people to order for sure on a list, and have a down payment on it. if the order altogether can at least help me break even on purchasing all of the equipment i need, then i'll start doing everything for sure. the stuff i'm doing on the side is pretty limited based on the equipment/supplies i already have.
i know i took down ring orders from a bunch of people already for rings, but that design is too complex for the equipment i have right now. it wouldn't turn out well if i did that all by hand. i'll try coming up with something right now that i can make, and see if people like that. i'll go look up all the equipment i still need for now and get the pricing for it. i'll put down how much i need, and how much i would charge per piece, and if i get enough to put money down for each piece to pay for the equipment, i'll ask for some money up front, go buy the equipment/materials and make everything. and then whatever else people think up i can also start making.

Good ideas. If you wanted a deposit to make the ring I would have no problem with that as long as we have some idea of a timeline. Doesn't matter if it is 6 weeks, 2 months. Whatever it takes as long as we know up front.

i got a lot of stuff i still have to get situated, but once i get it all settled i'll figure out the final costs for the stuff and set an exact amount that i need. once i have all the equipment i can set an estimate on each item. i'm working with whatever i have at the moment so it's kind of slow going.
with all the real equipment i needed, and if this was all i was doing, i could go through things pretty quick, maybe 1 week per item, per person. if multiple people have similar orders, it would probably be faster.
once i have everything to really get started, i'll have a definite timeline per item.
