2000 R1 engine

I may need a new engine...how hard is it to get one for my bike(2000 r1)?  is it worth it (price wise) or do most peeps just get rid of the bike(i dont wanna do that).

i dont know how much it cost, but your bike is to nice to get ride of.  get the engine.
